Newspaper reports have claimed that
Ronaldinho has endured a troubled start to the new season and was jeered by Barca fans during Sunday's 2-0 win over
Club captain Carles Puyol has already jumped to his team-mate's defence, but it has not stopped media criticism of the player's performances.
But despite Ronaldinho's current problems, Barca are adamant that the club are not looking to cash in on the 27-year-old.
Club vice-president Ferran Soriano told La Vanguardia: "Ronaldinho is not for sale, neither in December, nor June.
"It's inevitable that he has some problems with his game, but we've never thought of selling him."
Meanwhile,
Braida told Ona FM radio station: "This news is simply foolishness and we do not want to waste time on this subject."
